When we think about Provence, we imagine the sea,

cicadas, rose wine or aniseed beverages and of

course pétanque (Lawn bowling); which is played in

the shadows of trees after a nap. Since we can't bring

the Mediterranean Sea to Ottawa, Alliance Française

Ottawa and Decathlon are offering an introduction to

pétanque at 352 Maclaren Street. Following the game,

we will enjoy some tastings of local products to

discover Provence.
